Fill JEE Main Application Form 2018 by 1 January



JEE Main Application form 2018 will be released on 1st December 2017 and the exam will be held on 8th April 2018. The brochure for JEE Mains 2018 has been released on 22 November 2017. The application form will be filled in online mode. Candidates must go through the brochure thoroughly before filling the application form. No offline process is there for filling the application form. Fee payment can be done either through online or offline both modes are applicable.  Candidates must check the eligibility criteria and only on fulfilling the eligibility criteria, they should start filling the JEE Main Application Form.

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted for the candidates who are willing to take admission in engineering courses at undergraduate level. The organising committee for JEE is CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). The score obtained by candidates in JEE mains is used for admission at different NITs, IITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and other private universities and colleges as well.

JEE Main 2018 – Application process

The JEE Main form can be filled by the candidates in the online mode. The Application form will be released on 1st December 2017 and the last day for submission of the form is in January. Candidates should make all the documents ready before filling the application form and they should keep a scanned copy of photograph and signature ready with them to be uploaded.

How to fill the application form

There are some steps to fill the online application form.
STEP 1 – Registration

The first step to Fill JEE Main application form 2018 is registration in which candidates need to provide the basis details like name, email id, contact number etc. There is something new also added this year in the application process that the applicants who are having their Aadhaar cards with them shall enter Aadhaar number also in online application for JEE Main 2018 for the purpose of his/her identity and authentication proof.

This provision for Aadhaar details is applicable in all the states except North Eastern States like J&K, Assam & Meghalaya. The applicants who have passed or appearing in Class XII examination from the states of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt. identity number provided for their identification.  They are required to select the city of examination in these states only.

STEP 2- Uploading of Documents

In this step, candidates need to upload the documents required. Here photograph, signature and left thumb impression is to be uploaded.

STEP 3 – Payment of Application fee

The application fee can be paid either by using:
·         Credit card
·         Debit card
·         E – challan

STEP 4- Download the acknowledge slip and keep it safe till the process is over.

JEE Main Application Correction

Application correction facility will also be released for candidates to rectify the incorrect particulars filled in the JEE Main 2018 application form after a week of application submission. The dates will be notified later. However, candidates can make corrections in limited particulars of the application form like uploaded documents, exam centre, etc. But then also candidates are advised to fill the application form very carefully and avoid making mistakes while filling the application form.

SOF Results of IMO, NSO and IEO (level 2) To Be Declared By Mid Of March 2018
