Brief Information About Indian Army B.sc Nursing



Indian Army B.sc Nursing is an exam conducted by the Indian Army and which will be commencing in July/ October 2018 at various colleges of Nursing. This exam is held to offer admission into B.Sc Nursing courses and it is held mainly for the Female candidates only. B.sc nursing is a four year course offered by the Indian army. This is based on the Subject to a vacancy in each college (Merit cum choice). The female candidates who want to appear in the Indian Army B.sc Nursing exam have to register themselves for the exam. The registration form for the Nursing exam is now available on the official website from 11 December to 30 December. The candidates can apply for the application form on or before 30 December as it is the last date of registration. 

After the candidates have completed her 4 year B.sc nursing course, she will be granted Permanent or Short service commission in the Military Nursing service after the terms and conditions applied by the official for such commissions. As, it is mandatory for the candidate to serve 5 years in the Indian Army after she has completed her course.  


For now only the application release date and application end dates are declared by the officials. And more important dates like: Admit card, Exam, Result and interview dates are to be announced further by the officials. There are only six (6) colleges that would accept Indian army B.sc nursing exam scores to offer admission in the B.sc nursing course and the colleges are such as: CON, AFMC Pune; CON, CH (EC) Kolkata; CON, INHS Asvini; CON, AH (R&R) New Delhi; CON, CH (CC) Lucknow and CON, CH (AF) Bangalore. The total number of seats reserved for the admission of the female candidates is given below:

  • CON, AFMC Pune – 40 seats
  • CON, CH (EC) Kolkata – 30 seats
  • CON, INHS Asvini – 40 seats
  • CON, AH (R&R) New Delhi – 30 seats
  • CON, CH (CC) Lucknow – 40 seats
  • SON, CH (AF) Bangalore – 30 seats

For registration the candidates have to apply online by visiting the official website for the exam. Before the candidate starts her registration for the exam she should read all the eligibility related guidelines to make sure whether she is eligible for applying for the exam or not. Now, for filling the application form after visiting the official website the candidate’s provided
email id would be the user ID for application form and for the password the candidate can select their own password as per their desire. The application fee charged by the Indian army for the exam is Rs. 150 and all the applying candidates are requested to pay the application fee online only.

After, registering herself the candidate has to proceed further and fill all her personal details as asked in the application form correctly along with their mobile number (working) and email ID. The candidates are also requested to provide their alternate mobile number also so, as in case their preferred mobile number is not working or out of range then, the candidate can get all the related information about Indian army B.sc nursing through their alternate mobile number.  And the last and the final step for registration is to make the payment and the candidates have to pay their Rs. 150 online only. 

The candidates have to submit their duly filled application form online only. The candidate need not send any hard copy of their application form to the concerned official authorities. Also, the candidates are requested to take a printout or copy of their confirmation form for further communications. In, case of or to avoid the chance of misplacement the candidates are advised to take 2-3 copies of their confirmation form. The confirmation form will come in use for downloading your admit card as it contains the related details which will be required to download the admit card. So, the candidates must keep it safe.
