JEE Main 2018 Registration will start from 1 December 2017

JEE Main 2018 registration will be available from 1 December 2017. The registration will be done through online mode only as there is no procedure to register through offline mode. The candidates are allowed to register only once, if they tried to register themselves multiple times, the application will get rejected. From the year 2017 onwards, the Aadhar has become mandatory for JEE Main 2018 registration. Hence, the candidates will require Aadhar Details at the time of registration.

JEE Main 2018

The JEE Main exam will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) for admissions in Undergraduate Engineering Programs (UG) in NITs (National institute of technologies), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technologies) and CFIT (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions), involving State Government institutions. Many other institutions and government and private engineering colleges also accept JEE Main score.

  • JEE Main Registration Begins – 1 December 2017
  • JEE Main Registration Ends – 1 January 2018
  • JEE Main Exam Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Offline) – 8 April 2018
  • JEE Main Exam (Online) – 15 & 16 April 2018

Register Online for JEE Main 2018

JEE Main 2018 Registration form will be available online and the eligible candidates can fill the same from any place of convenience. JEE Main registration form will start from 1 December 2017 and can be filled until 1 January 2018. Candidates can go to the official website to register themselves for the JEE Main 2018. The candidates filling up the form should know that from the year 2017 onwards, the Aadhar card has become mandatory for the candidates to register for JEE Main. However, the candidates of J&K, Assam and Meghalaya are exempted to fill the Aadhar details in the registration form. JEE Main Registration process will include the following steps:

·         Registration & Form Filling- For filling up the form the candidates have to register themselves on the official website of JEE Main. After registering themselves the candidates have to fill the following details -
o   Personal Details- Here, the candidates have to fill their personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, state of eligibility, category, DOB (Date of Birth), Gender etc.
o   Academic Details- In this section, the details like the qualification, Year of passing, qualifying school/institute name, School or board name etc. of the candidates has to be filled.
·         Upload documents (Photograph and Signature) - Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph, signature and left-hand thumb Impression. Candidates have to upload their and their guardian’s signature with the given size.
o   Photograph – 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm
o   Signature – 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm
·         Payment & Submission- After, completing with the registration and uploading documents the candidates can go further for the payment. The candidates can make payment via Credit/Debit card or through e-challan.

Payment of the Application Form

·         Payment via Debit/Credit card-  In case of paying the registration fee via Credit cards then the candidates will need to pay the additional processing charge of 1.20% of the exam fee plus GST (as applicable). And if the candidates are paying the fee via Debit then they have to pay the additional charge of 0.75% + taxes for exam fee up to Rs. 2000+ 1% taxes for examination fee more than Rs.2000.
·         Payment via E-Challan- In case of payment through e-challan, the fee through e-challan can be submitted in any branch of Syndicate bank, Canara bank, HDFC bank and ICICI bank. The challan would be generated after the submission of JEE Main Registration form.

Submission of the Application Form

Once the candidates have successfully completed with the payment and the duly filled JEE Main 2018 registration form along with all the correct documents has been submitted. Candidates will get a confirmation page and also a confirmation mail on their provided email. The candidates are suggested to keep at least two copies of confirmation form with them for further communications. The candidates are requested not to send any document to JEE Secretariat.

SOF Results of IMO, NSO and IEO (level 2) To Be Declared By Mid Of March 2018

SOF Results SOF results for 2 nd level exam are going to be declared by the mid of March 2018 . The score cards will be released by the SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation).
