IMU CET
IMU CET (Indian
Maritime University Common Entrance Test) which is conducted by Indian
Maritime University to offer admissions in various courses. It is an all India
online common entrance test which is held to offer admission into under
graduate and post graduate courses. All these programs are offered by Indian
Maritime University and in all the institutions which are affiliated to IMU.
The entrance exam will be held expectedly in the 1st week of June 2018.
The exam pattern
for the IMU CET exam is mentioned
below:
- The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test will be held through online mode only.
- It will include 200 multiple type question.
- And the duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- Each correct answer will be provided 1 mark each.
- Negative marking is not applicable in this entrance exam.
All the
interested candidates can fill their application form by visiting the official
website. All the applications form will be filled through online mode only. And
the IMU CET application forms will
be available From March 2018 to 2nd week
of May 2018 (Tentatively). Candidates are requested to prepare their
all the scanned documents such as their current photograph, signature, 10th
mark sheet photocopy and category certificates (SC/ST). When the candidates are
done with their application form and payment then they are requested to take a
copy of their confirmation page.

To avoid the
chance of misplacement and damage of their confirmation page the candidates can
take 2-3 copies of their application form. All the candidates must keep in mind
that their IMU CET confirmation page
copy is a mandatory document to be carried along with while they go to download
their admit card. Every applicant should download their filled application form
in a standard format. After all the applying participants have submitted their
application form and an automated email/SMS will be sent to all the
participants.
The application
fee for all the courses which are offered by IMU (Indian Maritime University)
is different. This is to be noted that the IMU CET
application payment is to be made through online mode only such as the
candidates can pay via Credit/Debit/Net Banking. If any candidate has completed
their payment they need to know that their paid application fee will not be
refunded to any candidate. And the fee for the BTech/B. SC courses is Rs. 1000
(for General category candidates) and Rs. 700 is for reserved category
candidates. And similarly, for BBA course it is Rs. 200 (for General category
students) and is Rs. 140 for all reserved category students.
All the
Candidates are requested to re check their filled information twice before they
go further to submits their application form. The IMU CET is an all India online common entrance test which is held
for all the candidates who are willing or interested in securing their
admissions in all the affiliated colleges/Institutes to IMU. And the candidates
who will successfully qualify in the exam will be able to go further for their
selection process. After a candidate has qualified in the result then he/she
will be able to attend the counselling round further.
