NEET Application Form 2018 For UG Programme Online Registration Begin Soon

NEET 2018 is an All India UG medical entrance exam which is held by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). This is the single medical entrance exam in the country whose scores will be considered for providing opportunities in MBBS and BDS College. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would be releasing the following notifications related to this medical entrance exam shortly. The NEET 2018 entrance exam is going to be held on 10 May, 2018 and it will be a single stage Objective type question exam.

Latest Update: It is confirmed that exam will be held on 10 May 2018. All the details will be soon released by the CBSE. The National Eligibility cum Entrance test scores are not considered for admission in MBBS (AIIMS) as admission in seven AIIMS institute in India will be based on AIIMS MBBS entrance exam and as well JIPMER.

The candidates can secure admission to UG Medical and Dental programs will be based on CBSE NEET UG 2018 also in various Medical institutions which are affiliated or approved by MCI, DCI. These institutions have to consider NEET 2018 for offering admission in MBBS/BDS programs. It will be one level Objective type exam. Every desiring candidate can submit an online application form to attend the entrance exam and hence to participate in counselling with a valid score card of National Eligibility cum entrance test. 

It is a common entrance exam which is conducted for the applicants to secure admission in both private as well as Government medical colleges in our country. It is not allowed to any state to take their own entrance exam for providing admission into BDS and MBBS courses. However, the colleges/institutes will conduct their specific counselling for providing admission in multiple medical colleges.  The question paper of NEET 2018 will be constant for all languages. 

Five necessary points to be known by the NEET 2018 Participants:

  • The other entrance exams whose marks are considered by various medical colleges are AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS. Apart from all the stated institutes/colleges the admission in all other institutes/colleges/Universities would be offered on the basis of their NEET marks. The Supreme Court rules are clear that the opportunities even in the private college/institutes will be provided on the basis of their National Eligibility cum Entrance test obtained marks.
  • The entrance exam is to be conducted in 11 regional languages. Applicants should however note that these regional languages would not be open to candidates across country.
  • The appearing participants must keep in mind that their Aadhar card is necessary to carry along for the recognition of their real identity.
  • Only the online registration forms for CBSE (Central board of secondary education) NEET 2018 will be submitted on the official website.
  • All the applicants are advised to note that there is no provision for taking pen and paper applications.

Know the NEET 2018 Exam Pattern and Eligibility to prepare you!

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will include 180 total numbers of questions and will be held through offline mode only. This entrance exam will include all objective type questions from different subjects such as Physics, Biology (Zoology and botany) and Chemistry. This exam is for 3 hours duration which frames an exam paper in following regional languages such as Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. Each and every right answer contains 4 marks and there is one mark deduction (negative marking) for every incorrect answer. 

All Indian and Overseas participants of India must be born on or after 31st December and below 25 years if they belong to General or OBC category and they must be 30 years of age if they belong to other category. The desiring applicants must have qualified Class 10+2 or must have any other equivalent degree, with chemistry, Physics, biology/Biotechnology or along with English as their mandatory subject then they will be eligible to attend NEET 2018.
