JEE Main Registration 2019 – How to Apply, Procedure, Eligibility, FEE, Last Date


JEE Main Registration for 2019 will be starting from 1 September 2018 for the January 2019 session and end on 30 September 2018. Candidates are advised to complete the JEE Main Registration process before the last date. This is the first time that National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2019 exam. Earlier till 2018, it was being conducted by CBSE. 

NTA has introduced some major changes in the way JEE Main will be conducted. From 2019 onwards, JEE Main exam will be conducted twice a year i.e. in the month of January and April 2019. The candidates will have to apply separately for both the exams.  ./ are advised to check the eligibility criteria to ensure that the all the requirements are being fulfilled. From this year, the exam will be conducted twice and only through Computer Based Test.

The JEE Main Exam for January 2019 session will be held between 6 to 20 January 2019. JEE Main Registration for April 2019 exam will start from the Second week of February 2019. The fee will have to be paid again for JEE Main Registration for April 2019 exam.


NTA has introduced some major changes in 2019 that have been mentioned below
  • JEE Main 2019 to be a computer-based test only
  • Exam to be conducted twice a year
  • Exam to be held in 8 sittings in each session
  • Artificial Intelligence to be used to frame questions for the candidates
JEE Main 2019 Registration - Documents Required

Candidates are required to keep the below-mentioned documents ready before starting the process for JEE Main Registration for 2019.

·         Aadhar Card or Aadhar Enrolment number
·         Aadhar card is not mandatory for candidates from Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu and Kashmir and any valid ID proof will work for them.
·         A working and valid email ID
·         A working and valid mobile number
·         Scanned copy of the photograph and signature of the candidate and the guardian
·         Academic details and certificates
·         Debit/credit or internet banking details to pay JEE Main Registration fee
Candidates are advised to ensure that the internet connection is stable to avoid any technical snags.

How to apply for JEE Main 2019?

Candidates are advised to follow the steps mentioned below for JEE Main Registration
  • Step 1 – Register using the link given below
  • Step 2 – Fill up all the required details in the JEE Main Registration Form
  • Step 3 – Upload a scanned copy of the candidate’s passport size photograph and signature.
  • Step 4 – Pay via credit card/debit card/net-banking and submit the JEE Main Registration form
JEE Main Registration 2019 Fee

From this year, since the exams will be conducted twice hence the fee for JEE Main Registration will also have to be paid twice. Candidates can check the table given below to get an idea of the fee for JEE Main 2019 as there has been no change in the fee for JEE Main Registration.

SOF Results of IMO, NSO and IEO (level 2) To Be Declared By Mid Of March 2018

SOF Results SOF results for 2 nd level exam are going to be declared by the mid of March 2018 . The score cards will be released by the SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation).
