KVPY Application Form 2018 - IISc Bangalore has
released KVPY application form online on 11 July. Application forms are
available online for all the three streams, SA, SX and SB. Candidates can apply
online for the KVPY exam 2018. Candidates who meet the KVPY eligibility
criteria can fill the KVPY Registration Form online with their mobile number,
email id and basic details. After KVPY registration, candidates can login to
fill the application form and complete the application process.
The last date
to apply for KVPY 2018 is 31 August. Candidates are advised to remember the deadline and complete the
registration process before due date. KVPY application form is to be filled for

KVPY Application Streams – SA, SX and SB
KVPY Application form is available for all the three streams SA, SX and SB. While KVPY Registration process, candidates will have to choose the stream for the application.
Stream SA – Students studying in Class 11 are
required to apply for KVPY Application SA
Stream SX – Students studying in Class 12 are
required to apply for KVPY Application SX
Stream SB - Students studying in the first
year of any undergraduate program in basic sciences are required to apply for
KVPY Application SB
KVPY 2018 Application Process
Candidates
who fulfil the KVPY
Eligibility can register for KVPY 2018. The steps to fill the KVPY Application Form are given below.
Step 1: KVPY Registration - Candidates have to fill the registration
form for KVPY. For registration, candidates need mobile number, email address
and fill the details like name, date of birth, presently studying in which
class, stream and Nationality.
Step 2: Go To Application - After registration, candidate will get login details. Candidate can login
with User ID and Password and fill the KVPY application form. In personal
details section, there will be fields like Gender, Category, Disability status and Address. In academic details section,
candidates is required to fill exam board name, aggregate
percentage in science and maths, date of joining of current
class/course, name and address of the School/College.
Step 3: Upload & Test Preference – Candidates have
to choose the language for the exam (English or Hindi), 4
exam centres preference and upload scanned copy of Photograph and Signature.

4: Preview Application -
After filling the application form, click on “Preview Application” to view your
filled application form and verify the details entered by you.
Step
5: Pay the KVPY Application Fee –
Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode (Internet Banking,
Credit Card or Debit Card). KVPY Application Fee is Rs. 1000 for General and
OBC Candidates and Rs. 500 for SC and ST Candidates.
Step
6: Check Application Status – After
two days of submitting the application form, Candidates should check the application
status. There will be a message on top of the application that “Your
application is successfully submitted”.
KVPY Application Form – NEW Changes
- In KVPY Registration form, candidates will have to select the stream that is SA, SX and SB.
- There is an increase in KVPY exam centres this year. In 2018, there are 100 test cities for KVPY exam which were 54 in 2017.
3. Candidate cannot pay the
KVPY application fee through offline mode like challan from this year.
