All the candidates who have cleared JEE Main 2015 are hereby invited to participate in JoSAA 2015 Seat Allocation process. The article highlights the important changes that have been made in the seat allocation process from this year onwards as compared to previous year for getting admission in IIIT’s, NIT’s and other Government Funded Technical Institutes. For the first time, admission to NIT’s, IIIT’s and other GFTI’s will be done along with IIT’s and ISM Dhanbad via common portal known as Joint Seat Allocation Authority or in short JoSAA. NIT’s, IIIT’s and other GFTI’s are together known as NIT +System whereas IIT’s and ISM are together known by the name IIT + System. Around 1.3 Million students took JEE Main 2015 Exam this year which was conducted in Pen and Paper based mode on April 4, 2015 while the Computer Based test was conducted on April 10 and 11, 2015.
