All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is a national level exam for filling 15% of the total seats available in Veterinary Colleges in India.  Approximately 258 seats in Veterinary colleges in India will be filled by AIPVT 2015 entrance exam. The exam enables student to get admission in the first year of five year Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry programme (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) which includes compulsory six month internship Generally the exam is conducted by Veterinary Council of India (VCI) but as per the recent meeting held on January 15, 2015 of Veterinary Council of India in Nagpur, Maharashtra, there is a possibility that exam might be conducted by CBSE. The All India Pre-Veterinary Test or AIPVT 2015 is scheduled to take place on May, 2015. The exam aims to select candidates for the 258 seats (approximate) available in the 30 colleges that accept its score. These colleges include College of Veterinary Science, Hyderabad, College of Veterinary Science, Guwahati, College of Veterinary Sciences, Hisar, and College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Bikaner and more. Since these colleges are spread  all over the country, you wouldn’t have to go far from your home to study if you get selected. The entrance exams is yet to be announced and most probably it would be announced in 2nd week of March.
