NID DAT result for M.Des
has been announced by the officials on 15 February 2018. Candidates who have
appeared for the entrance exam can now check their score cards on official
website. Applicants who will be successfully score good in their result will be
able to take admission. Every applied student or applicant has to enter their respective
application number and password so that they may get their NID DAT result easily.
The officials i.e.
National Institute of Design has announced the score cards and the scores
obtained in their result will be considered for their admission in the academic
year 2018-19.
NOTE: The
candidates must keep in mind that the score cards of B.Des and GDPD will be
declared on 13 March 2018.

These are some
important dates which a candidate must always keep in their mind. This is clearly
stated by the officials that the applicants who will successfully qualify in
the prelims will be only able to appear in the Mains exam. As, the weightage or
the marks scored by the candidates in both Prelims as well in the Mains exam
will be allotted the admission further. The NID DAT result will help the candidates to go further for the DAT
mains exam to secure their admission successfully.
Guidelines to download your score card:
- Visit the official website.
- Search for the relevant link to download
- Enter your respective application/ID number and password allotted to you at the time of registration.
- Submit your login credentials carefully
- And your NID DAT score cards will be displayed on your screen.
Candidates have
to follow these guidelines if they want to download their NID DAT result successfully. When the score card will be displayed
on their respective screens the candidates if qualified are requested to take a
copy of their qualified score card. To avoid the chance of displacement or
damage the candidates can take 2-3 copies of their score cards. The copy of
their qualified result as it will be helpful in their future communication.
Total no. of candidates who will be shortlisted for
the next round:
The candidates
who are willing to take admission in B.Des course then the total number of
candidates who will be shortlisted for the next round i.e. Round 2 or DAT Main
exam will be the 3.5 of the total number of aspirants who have applied for the
entrance exam.
And if the
candidate is willing to take admission in M.Des then the total number of
candidates who will be called up for the second round i.e. Mains exam will be
the 5 times of the number of candidates who have applied for the entrance exam.
Format of the score card will be:
The candidates
who have appeared for the NID DAT entrance exam then they should know the
pattern of their NID DAT result. The
points related to it are:
- DAT (prelims) Score must be mentioned out of 100
- Rank scored in open merit list
- Category wise rank
The candidates
have to make sure that when their score card will be displayed on their
respective screens then they are required to check whether their NID DAT result includes the above
mentioned details or not. The candidates must check their score cards carefully
before they download their score cards as if it will include any discrepancy
then it can make the candidate in trouble.
