NTSE Result
NTSE result will be
announced by the 3rd week of
August 2018 by NCERT. The candidates can visit to the official website of
NCERT to get their scorecards downloaded. Every candidate must enter their
correct details while they go to get their NTSE
result downloaded. No scorecard will be appeared for the candidates who
have not registered for the entrance exam. The candidates have to Note that the
scorecards for many states have been declared by NCERT.
The states for
which the scorecards are to be declared are Goa, Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar,
Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Lakshadweep.

How To Check Your Result?
Candidates need
to check their scorecards by following these mentioned steps:
- Candidates need to visit the official website of NCERT
- Then after visiting the website the applicants need enter their application number and password.
- When the candidate will enter their correct application number and password then their NTSE result will be displayed on their computer screen.
- After when the scorecards will be appeared on the screens the candidates are requested to take a copy of it for future communication.
What To Do If Unable To Download Your Scorecards?
Candidates must
know that if they are unable to get their scorecards downloaded then they have
to contact the officials immediately before the admission process is completed.
The applicants must check their details entered to Get NTSE Result
as it may be due to the wrong entry of their application number or password. The
candidates if in case forget their passwords can also request for the new
password by clicking on the “Forget Password”.
After getting
their new password the candidates are required to get their scorecards
downloaded for future communications. It is a mandatory document to be carried
along with while the candidate is going to take his or her scholarship.
Details Related To The Cut-Off:
The candidates
must also know about the cutoffs related
to the National Talent Search examination test. If any candidate wants to
secure their scholarship then they need to qualify the stage 2.And to qualify
in the NTSE result for stage 2 the
applicants need to qualify with the minimum and maximum marks obtained.
The candidates
who belong to General category must have scored 40% in each category (MAT,
Language test, and Scholastic aptitude
test). And for the candidates who belong to SC/ST category must know that they
have received a relaxation of 5% which means the candidates who so ever belongs
to the Category SC/ST they need to score 35% of the minimum marks to qualify in
stage 2 entrance exam.
Some Important Facts Related To The Result:
As it is known by every
candidate that the National Talent Search Examination will be held in two
stages i.e. stage 1 and stage 2. The NTSE
result for stage 1 exam will be declared on the different dates according
to the states. And the result for the second stage entrance exam will be
declared tentatively in August 2018. Here are some of the important facts which
are related to the scorecards:
- This is to be noted by the candidates that negative marking has started from his year and 1/3 of their marks will be deducted from their answers if the candidate attempts any wrong answer.
- The entrance exam for stage 2 will be held in many different languages such as Assamese, Bangla, Gujarati, English, Marathi, Oriya, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu etc.
- Applicants who have appeared for the stage 1 entrance exam can also find the link of the answer sheets of some states.
- The exam pattern for the stage 2 exam will be of 3 hours duration and it will be divided into three main categories which are MAT (50 questions), Language test (50 questions) and Scholastic aptitude test (100 questions).
