DU Online Form: Available For the Aspirants From 3rd Week of May 2018

DU Online Form will be available for the aspirants from the third week of May 2018 for various UG (undergraduate) courses on its official website. The aspirants can fill DU Online Form in order to apply for the DU Admission by the second week of June 2018. The online applications for the admission in the programs like P.G, PhD, and M. Phil. will be stared from the second week of June 2018.

The University of Delhi, popularly known as DU (Delhi University) offers various programmes for the aspirants at the UG, PG, and Doctorate level. The courses that are offered by the DU are in various streams such as Humanity & Social Sciences, Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Teaching & Education, Business & Management Studies, Medicine & Health Sciences, and Engineering.
Note: The candidates who are willing to apply for St. Stephen and Jesus & Mary College, then they have to follow the centralized admission procedure along with the separate admission process for both the colleges.

Eligibility Criteria For DU

The Eligibility for the admission in UG (Undergraduate) program is the candidates have to be passed in 12^th Class or equivalent from a recognized board. Whereas the eligibility criterion for the admission in PG (Postgraduate) program is the candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in their particular field of study.

How to fill DU Online Form

In the DU admission process, the admission is provided on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. DU has announced that it would introduce a new feature in its DU Online Form for the admission 2018. The aspirants will be provided with a single online portal for the entrance exam as well as for the merit-based exam for UG courses. Here we have mentioned the details regarding filling up the DU Online Form. 

Step – 1: Go to the official website of DU and the first time user has to sign up first by clicking on New User Sign Up.

Step – 2: The details they have to enter for sign up is like candidate’s name, email id, password, mobile number etc. After filling up the details, the candidates will have to click on the Register button.

Step –3: Now the candidates will be able to login. After login, they can fill the DU Online Form.

Step – 4: The DU Online Form is divided into several sections and each one is needs to be filled completely.

Step – 5: The details that have to be filled in the DU Online form are like personal details, academic details, course selection, Sports (in case of sports quota), ECA, and bank details.

Step – 6: After that, there are various important documents that have to be uploaded such as photograph, signature, X & XII class certificate and mark sheet, caste category certificate, etc.

Step – 7: The final step is making payment of the application form. It is advised to review the DU Online Form carefully before moving further and making payment. The fee can be made via net banking, Debit card, or by Credit card.

Note: The application fee for General and OBC is Rs. 100/-, for SC and ST category is Rs. 75/-, and for sports/ECA quota there would be additional fees of Rs. 100/-.
