NTSE Exam (Stage 1 and 2) 2018-19 – Get Latest Notification


NTSE Exam is conducted in two stages i.e. NTSE Stage 1 and NTSE Stage 2. The candidates who qualify NTSE Stage 1 Exam are only eligible for NTSE Stage 2 Exam; however, the Indian Students studying overseas are eligible to appear in NTSE Stage 2 Exam. The students who are in class 10 are only eligible to apply for NTSE Exam. NTSE is conducted by NCERT who rewards meritorious students with the scholarship to pursue higher studies. The scholarship is being distributed from class 11 till PhD study. 

NTSE Application process starts in the month of August. For NTSE Exam Stage 1, every state and union territory releases separate application form. However, the qualified students from NTSE Stage 1 are not needed to fill any application form for NTSE Stage 2 as the qualified students directly entered into NTSE Stage 2 Exam.

  • Every year, NCERT rewards 1000 meritorious students.
  • The qualified candidates get NTSE Scholarship to pursue higher studies in science and social science toll doctoral level and in case of medicine and engineering; the scholarship is give till second-degree level subject.

Latest Update: NTSE will have OBC quota from 2019 for NTSE Stage 2 and the number of scholarship are expected to be double from the upcoming session.

NTSE Exam 2018-19 – Eligibility Criteria, Application Form

Irrespective of genders, everyone who is studying in class 10 is eligible to apply for NTSE Exam 2018-19 in their respective states/union territory. NRI Students are also eligible. The application process for NTSE Exam usually begins in August and ends in September. Every state and union territory releases its own Application form for NTSE Stage 1 Exam. The Dates also vary in each state and union territory. 

The aspirants can collect NTSE Application form from State/Union Liaison Officer and also applying online from their respective states SCERT website.

NTSE Exam 2018-19 – Answer Key, Result

Every state and union territory releases NTSE Answer Key for NTSE Exam Stage 1. The purpose of released the Answer Key is that the students can self-evaluate their performance in the NTSE Exam Stage 1 and can also challenge it by paying the prescribed fee. 

NCERT releases NTSE Stage 2 Answer Key for NTSE Stage 2 Exam before the announcement of NTSE Stage 2 Result.

Similarly in case of NTSE Result Stage 1 is declared by every state and union territory separately; however NCERT announces NTSE Stage 2 Result on a singular date.

NTSE Exam 2018-19 – Syllabus, Tips, Exam Pattern

There is different syllabus for NTSE Stage 1 Exam and NTSE Stage 2 Exam. Generally NTSE Stage 2 is much difficult than NTSE Stage 1. However, with focus and proper guidelines, it is achievable. SOF Results of IMO, NSO and IEO (level 2) To Be Declared By Mid Of March 2018

SOF Results SOF results for 2 nd level exam are going to be declared by the mid of March 2018 . The score cards will be released by the SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation).
