IMO Results will be for level 1 and level 2 will be declared in January 2018 and March 2018 respectively. IMO is the International Mathematical Olympiad which is organised by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) every year. This time it will be 11^th IMO Olympiad and is scheduled to be held on 5 and 14 December 2017. In this article we are giving the complete information for 11^th IMO 2017 results, the result will also be declared by SOF. The exam will be conducted in two levels, so the result will also be declared for both the levels. After clearing level 1, the qualified candidates would go for level 2.

How to Download - IMO Result

To download the result, candidates need to enter the following information in a prescribed format:

• School code
• Class number
• Roll number

Candidates need to download the result online from its official site. There is no process of sending the result offline. The link to download the result would be provided on this page after the declaration of result.

IMO Results Declaration

The result for the level 1 and level 2 will be declared separately. The students who will qualify level 1 will be eligible to appear for the level 2 of the exam. For the level 1 of the exam, a student performance Report (SPR) will be released. This SPR will contain all the detailed information of the exam and the performance analysis of that particular student. By going through this report the candidates would come to know either they are eligible for the second round or not.

About IMO

IMO is a mathematics Olympiad called as International Mathematical Olympiad which is organised by SOF for the students of class 1 to 12. The first level of the Olympiad is conducted at school level at the choice of the day when they want to conduct the exam. The second level will be held at the prescribed date for the selected candidates. The candidates who qualify the second level of the exam will be given various exciting prizes and participating gifts with certificates of participation. There will not be any application fee paid by the schools. However candidates need to pay a nominal fee. Part of this fee would be retained by the schools as the charge of its expanses as exam centre. Only the registered schools can conduct the exam. But the schools which are not registered can also register themselves with Science Olympiad foundation.

IMO is conducted to check and identify the mathematical creativity of students from all the schools in India and abroad. It will be an online exam and the students will be assigned with a computer centre to appear for the exam. Rough sheets will also be provided to the students in the exam hall for calculations and rough work. These sheets must be returned back to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. The first level will be an online test of 60 minutes comprising of 35 Multiple Choice Questions for class 1 to 4 students and 50 questions for class 5 to 12 students. There will be separate question papers for each class. The second round will be conducted only for students of class 3 to 12. Only the qualifying candidates of the first round can appear for the second round.
