ICAR Application Form 2018

ICAR Application Form 2018 will be released soon in the month of April 2018. Indian Council of Agricultural Research will be available online only. Candidates can fill the ICAR Application Form 2018 on the official website icar.org.in. It is requested to check the eligibility criteria carefully before filling up the application form. 

ICAR conducts this national-level examination to shortlist the examination to shortlist the aspirants to provide admission in the UG (undergraduate), PG (Postgraduate), and Doctoral degree programs in agriculture and allied science to fill 15% seats in Bachelors and 25% in Masters as well as Doctoral degree programs (100% seats in ICAR-DUs).  

The application form will be available soon and can be filled until the last week of April 2018. As the releasing date of the application form is not fixed, but the examinations online for the Academic Session 2018-19 are fixed. The following dates are approved by the Competent Authority of the Council:

Some important information related to ICAR Application Form 2018:

·         Candidates have to Submit the Online ICAR Application Form 2018 until the last week of April 2018

• There is only online mode available. There is no offline mode to apply for the exams.
• Candidates can pay the application fee either by online or offline mode.
• Candidates have to check the eligibility carefully before further proceedings.
• The candidates are required to enter the correct details in the application form. Any incorrect information filled by the candidate leads to cancellation of the application.
• During filling up the application candidates will be required to enter their personal details, qualification details, contact details etc.
• The candidates are advised to keep the hard copy of application form in a safe custody for further use.
• After filling and submitting the application form, candidates are not allowed to make any changes in the particulars.

Fee Criteria:

The fee for ICAR Application Form 2018 can be paid through credit card/ debit card or Net banking. It can also be paid via bank challan or NEFT. The application fees have to be paid category wise like:

For UG (Gen., UPS, and OBC) Rs. 500/-, (SC, ST, and PC) Rs. 250/-, for PG (Gen., UPS, and OBC) Rs. 600/-, (SC, ST, and PC) Rs. 300/-, and for AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS) (Gen., UPS, and OBC) Rs. 1200/-, (SC, ST, and PC) Rs. 600/-.

Eligibility Criteria For ICAR Application Form 2018:

Age:For AIEEA UG, the candidate should be of 17 years but not more than 23. For AIEEA PG, the maximum age of the candidate should be 19 as on 31^st of April 2018, and there is no age relaxation on the minimum age.

Qualification: For UG, the candidate must be passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The subjects are like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, Home Science etc. 

For PG, the candidates must have passed their bachelor’s degree (or appearing in the final examination) in the respective fields under 10+2+5, 10+2+4 degree programs like Agriculture, Veterinary, Horticulture, Fisheries, Home Science, Agriculture Engineering, Dairy Technology, Dairy Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Forestry, Marketing Banking and Cooperation, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Allied Science etc.

Online Process of Filling-up ICAR Application Form 2018

• First of all, candidates have to visit the official website
• Then select the exam wish to apply for UG, PG, or JRF/SRF (PGS)
• Fill the application and verify it, and then submit the application
• Now the application number and password will be generated
• Then the candidates have to pay the fees through any payment mode they want
• Now it’s done, take the print out of the ICAR Application Form 2018 along with the required documents and send it to the provided address.
• Keep the copy of application form, fee payment receipt, and postal dispatch proof.
