UP Scholarship 2018: The Registration Started – Apply Now

UP Scholarship 2018: The registration has been started from 1 July 2018 for UP Scholarship. The candidates can apply ‘Online’ only for UP Scholarship 2018-19. The link to apply online for UP Scholarship is available on this page. UP Scholarship Renewal Form is also available. The last date to apply for UP Scholarship is 31 August 2018. UP Scholarship is distributed to support education of economically weaker section of the society. Therefore, the candidates who are UP domicile can apply now as due to heavy traffic, the server will be down during the last days of registration.

There are a total of two scholarship distributed by UP Government:

• Pre Matric UP Scholarship
• Post Matric UP Scholarship

UP Scholarship Application Form 2018-19

The candidates can only Apply Online for UP Scholarship 2018-19 through the link available on this page. It is advised to read and follow all the instructions while applying online for UP Scholarship. The eligible candidates can apply for UP Scholarship by 31 August 2018. There is no Offline process for UP Scholarship. 

Scholarship Amount: The scholarship amount may vary for different categories and class. The candidates can check the complete list by following the link available on this page. The candidates who apply under Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship will get Scholarship amount directly into their bank account by 15 and 30 December 2018 respectively.

Overview on UP Scholarship 2018-19: In 2017, around 1.3 crores candidates apply for UP Scholarship under various categories; however, only 5548339 candidates got advantage of UP Scholarship as per the official website.

UP Scholarship 2018-19 – Important Points

• The candidates who did not get UP Scholarship in 2017-18 are needed to apply UP Scholarship Renewal Form.
• The UP domicile candidates who are studying outside the state in Government school or colleges are also eligible to apply for UP Scholarship.
• The candidates’ bank account must be linked with Aadhaar Number.
• The candidates are advised to keep their bank account active to get advantage of UP Scholarship.
