BHU UET 2018
BHU UET 2018 is a gateway exam
which is conducted by Banaras Hindu University to offer admissions to the candidates
who are willing to secure admission in multiple undergraduate courses. Banaras Hindu University registration forms
will start from the initial week of February 2018 (tentatively) and the
entrance exams for the candidates who want to take admissions in the Banaras
Hindu University (BHU) then they need to know that the admissions are going to
begin from 1st April 2018. The university provides various General programs,
Professional programs and many vocational programs also. All the admissions
will be received by the admission committees of the specified or particular departments
after analysing the results of the particular UET (Undergraduate entrance test).
The applicants
must have passed their class 12 or any other equivalent exam from an authorized
board/University and they must have scored 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST applicants
(40% aggregate marks), for OBC it is 45% aggregate marks. These aggregate percentages
are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria for securing their admission in
BA LLB (Hons) program. For the applicants who are appearing their class 12
exams are also considered applicable to apply for the BHU UET 2018. However, it is to be noted that the applicants who
will fail to produce their class 12 mark sheet then their admission will be
done as restrictive admission in BA LLB (Hons) program.
All the applicants
need to generate the final result by the scheduled date and time otherwise
their admission will be cancelled by the authorities. And at the time of their
counselling all the applicants need to present their results in which they will
be stated to be passed with at least 50% marks and this is a mandatory document
for all the detached category applicants. For Admission in BHU
UET 2018 the applicants
should have passed class XII from open universities without any fundamental
qualification will not be applicable to apply for the entrance exam.
The exam centres
where this gateway exam will be held are Allahabad, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur,
Kochi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Lucknow, Dimapur, Mirzapur,
Gorakhpur, Vadodara, Guwahati and Varanasi.
The applicants
must keep in their mind while they go to register themselves for the entrance
exam that they should fill all the correct details related to their
qualifications and personal information as well. They should recheck their
filled registration form twice before submitting it. As, no one will get any second
chance to edit their filled application form. The applicants can pay their
payment via Credit/Debit card/Net banking as well. After finishing with the
payment section all the applicable candidates are requested to take a copy of
their confirmation form for future preferences.
Here is
mentioned the exam pattern for BHU UET 2018 entrance exam:
- The entrance exam will include 150 multiple choice question (MCQ) of 450 marks.
- The entrance exam is of two hours duration.
- The gateway exam will contain five subjects such as General awareness, current affairs, legal aptitude, English comprehension and for their mental ability.
- The applicants will be rewarded three marks for every right attempt.
- For each incorrect answer one mark will be deducted as there is a negative marking applicable in the exam.
