JSTSE
stands for Junior Science Talent Search Examination
and is a talent search exam in the field of science. JSTSE is conducted for
students of class 9 staying in Delhi. JSTSE is conducted by the science
branch of Directorate of Education, government of Delhi. Student of class 9,
whether from Govt/Govt aided/NDMC/Public/Navodaya, are allowed to give the exam.
The JSTSE exam consists of subjects like General Knowledge, and General Science
and mathematics. Only the students studying in Delhi can avail this
scholarship.
Given below are dates related to JSTSE 2018-19 that a student should keep in mind
The scholarship of JSTSE will be awarded to approximately 150 students in Delhi. The amount of scholarship to the first 100 students will be higher than the last 50 students. The latest amount given under JSTSE Scholarship has not been disclosed anywhere. On researching further, it was found that the amount given to first 100 students was Rs 2000 and to last 50 students was Rs 1,000 as per the data available for 2014.

Scholarship 2018-19
The scholarship of JSTSE will be awarded to approximately 150 students in Delhi. The amount of scholarship to the first 100 students will be higher than the last 50 students. participants in JSTSE was 17,633 which had participation from 617 schools in
Delhi.

Whereas in 2018, around 28,000
students have registered for JSTSE
2018-19.
The amount of scholarship
that a participant receives is low in JSTSE but the exam is one of the major ones. Hence the number of participants is
increasing day by day.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to fulfil the criteria given below to participate in JSTSE

Class: 9
·
Region: Delhi
·
Marks required: The student should have scored a minimum of 65% marks in class 8 in the
previous academic year.
JSTSE
- How to apply?
All the participants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply for JSTSE. There is no participation fee for JSTSE.

For participation in JSTSE, the
head of the school gets filled up by the students the admission form cum admit
card and Proforma A in triplicate.
·
These filled up documents are
then submitted to the science branch by the school.
Candidates must ensure that the school
stamp has been put on every answer sheet and all other documents before sending
them to the science branch.
