KVPY Syllabus 2018
Mostly students preparing for KVPY 2018 are looking for KVPY Syllabus. As there are 3 streams for students appearing for KVPY exam, the KVPY Syllabus varies stream wise. KVPY official website does not provide any KVPY Syllabus for the exam. However, it states that the written exam aims to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student rather than his factual knowledge. However, students are tested for the syllabus up to Class 10, 12 and First year of basic science undergraduate course. As there is no prescribed syllabus for the KVPY exam, students finding it difficult make preparation strategy and understand the weightage of any topic. For the students looking for KVPY Syllabus, here is a list prepared of important topics for each class for each subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology which can be considered as KVPY Syllabus 2018 and will help students to prepare for the KVPY Exam.

KVPY Exam Pattern - Highlights
Students who have checked the KVPY Syllabus must check the KVPY Exam Pattern to understand the exam structure.- The question paper has two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.
- Each part will have four sections - Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
- In KVPY Stream SA, all the questions are compulsory to attempt. There is no choice between Mathematics and Biology.
- In KVPY Stream SX/SB, Candidate can choose to attempt any 3 Subjects in Part 1 and choose to attempt any 2 Subjects in Part 2. If any candidate attempts more than required sections, then BEST THREE subjects in Part 1 and BEST TWO Subjects in Part 2 will be considered.
- The question paper consists of 100 marks.
The KVPY syllabus includes all topics from classes 11th and 12th, including Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology. Although the governing body does not formally determine the KVPY syllabus, students should review the previous year's question paper and extract the key themes.
