ResoSTaRT 2018 is an initiative started by Times of India (TOI). Student Talent Reward Test (STaRT) ResoSTaRT is a nation-wide platform for young, sharp mind school students with their family members to battle out on a game of intelligence and general awareness. TOI has partnered with Resonance Eduventures Ltd. for ResoSTaRT 2018, which will be held across 2000 schools in over 100 cities and 20 regions of the country.
ResoSTaRT 2018 will be conducted on 30 September, 14 and 28 October 2018 in East, North, Central, South and West zones, respectively. The registration of ResoSTaRT 2018 has started from 25 July 2018. Only students studying in Class 6 to 12 can register for Family Quiz 2018 by TOI. The last date for STaRT family quiz 2018 is 15 September.
With registration, students will be entitled to take part in a general awareness quiz. The qualified candidates can further go to take part in STaRT qualifier round, which is a single stage test. The winners from the qualifier round and the general awareness round quiz will be eligible to take part in ResoSTaRT 2018. The final ResoSTaRT 2018 felicitation programme of the winning students with their families will be held in five cities. Also, the winners of ResoSTaRT will get a chance to win a cash prize and a grand exclusive five days trip to NASA.

What is STaRT 2018 Qualifier Round?
Student Talent Reward Test (STaRT) is a knowledge and aptitude test conducted by Resonance Eduventures Ltd. in order to reach out nurture talented students across the country. For an aspiring student, STaRT will provide a national level real world feel of competitive world. It helps student to showcase their talent at the national level which will boost their confidence to perform well in the future competitive examinations.
Resonance Eduventures Ltd. is a coaching institute in India, which prepare students from Class 9 to 12 for national level entrance examination like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, AIIMS and Olympiads.

ResoSTaRT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the test, aspirants must go through the eligibility criteria of ResoSTaRT Family Quiz 2018 to check whether they are eligible or not. The eligibility conditions that candidates need to fulfill are:
· Students studying in Class 6 to 12 from all boards are eligible for STaRT
· Candidates pursing their studies in bilingual language i.e. English and Hindi can appear for the test
· Aspirants in Class 11 and 12 with Science (Bio and Maths) can participate for ResoStart
ResoSTaRT 2018 Registration
As mentioned earlier, the registration of ResoSTaRT has started from 25 July. The last date for ResoStart is 15 September 2018. ResoSTaRT Registration can be done through following modes:
1. STaRT family quiz registration through School: Candidates can register through school by requesting the authorities for STaRT. The school authorities will help in registering for ResoSTaRT by paying the requisite fee in cash
2. STaRT family quiz registration through Online: Aspirants can click on the link provided on this page to register online. During the online registration, fill the personal, contact, address and school details. Along with that, enter the test date and city name; also upload a passport size photograph as per the specifications. After successful registration, pay the application fee through online or at the study centre of Resonance in cash
3. STaRT family quiz registration through Android App: If students wish to register through the android app, they must install the ‘ResoSTaRT’ app. Click on the registration link and enter the required details. Register and pay the registration fee as mentioned. Also, candidates can invite friends and earn cash.
4. STaRT famil quiz registration through Resonance: If the above mentioned steps feel difficult, aspirants can go to nearest study centre of Resonance and purchase the form. Fill the registration form carefully deposit the fee in cash

The exam pattern of Test Family Quiz test is provided in this section. As mentioned earlier, the test paper will be bilingual in English and Hindi. A total of 120 minutes will be given to complete the test containing 80 objective type questions. Check the ResoSTaRT exam pattern and distribution of questions from the table below.

ResoSTaRT 2018 Result
After the exam will be conducted, the authority will announce the result of ResoSTaRT 2018 on 30 November. Students and their family members who will the minimum qualifying marks in ResoSTaRT will be considered qualified. STaRT family quiz will be declared in the form of score card. Candidates can download their Time Family Quiz by entering the required credentials.
The score card will display the scores, percentage and percentile of candidate. Along with that, the maximum, average and highest score of particular class will be displayed on the screen. The final felicitation programme will recognize the winning students along with their family members in a grand ceremony that will be held across at the zonal headquarters.
ResoSTaRT 2018 Reward
As a key patron of this programme, STaRT also promises to reward about 5000 cash prizes of worth Rs. 1.40 crore to the deserving students. The National Level Topper will be awarded Rs. 50,000 for Class 6 to 9 and Rs. 75,000 for Class 10 to 12. First runner ups will win a cash prize of Rs. 35,000 for Class 6 to 9, while for Class 10 to 12, the cash prize is of Rs. 51,000. Also, the superlative performers of ResoSTaRT will get a chance for a grand exclusive five days trip to NASA. The rank-wise prize distribution of ResoSTaRT is mentioned below.
