The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is an initiative by the NCERT that attempts to identify talented students and assist in nurturing their capabilities. Exceptionally abled students in the field of science, commerce, law, and social studies chosen through NTSE are provided financial assistance in the form of a monthly scholarship to enable them to pursue a degree of their choice. Every year, 1000 students are selected to receive a fixed amount of scholarship from the government of India.
